Arrival by road
Leave the A10 autobahn (Berlin orbital) at the Leest exit (north of the Werder interchange), follow the signs for Potsdam, at the end of Wublitzstrasse turn right towards Golm, at the roundabout turn left, the IAP is situated on the right.

Arrival from airport Tegel:

• take the city-autobahn directed to Charlottenburg
• at Dreieck Funkturm change to A115 (AVUS) with direction Leipzig/Magdeburg
• exit (Potsdam-)Babelsberg
• continue ride on Nutheschnellstraße with direction (Potsdam-)Zentrum
• drive over the so called Humboldtbrücke (a bridge) and head to Cecilienhof
• follow the main road (drive past the Dorint-Hotel on the right)
• when arrvied at Maulbeerallee head to Eiche/Golm (on the left hand side and on the right hand side of the Maulbeerallee you can see Park Sanssouci with its historical buildings)
• on the main road (Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße) pass through the district Potsdam-Eiche, it affiliates to the district Potsdam-Golm
• continue on the main road through Golm
• near the exit of Golm a traffic circle is located, take the first exit on the right, the next access road on the right leads to the institute's parking places

Arrival by rail
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) or from Zoo station, take the local train (Regionalzug) to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (main station), change to local train with destination Wustermark, Hennigsdorf or Golm, get off at Golm station, pass the railway tunnel and follow the asphalt path to the Institute (about 500 m). Alternatively you can take the bus connections 605, 606 and 612 from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof directly to "Wissenschaftspark Golm".

Please note the blocking of the route Berlin-Wannsee - Berlin-Charlottenburg in the period from 12/11/2011 to 12/8/2012. The closure affects the local train lines RE 1 and RE 7.

Arrival by rail from 12/11/2011 to 12/8/2012:
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) or from Zoo station, take the local train (Regionalzug) to station Golm. Pass the railway tunnel and follow the asphalt path to the Institute (about 500 m). Alternatively you can take the bus connections 605, 606 and 612 from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof directly to "Wissenschaftspark Golm".

Arrival by air
From Berlin Tegel airport take Express bus X9 to the zoo station, then follow the directions under "Arrival by rail". From Berlin Schönefeld take bus 602 or local train RE 38 to Potsdam main station, then follow the directions for "Arrival by rail".
